The objective of PNYHC “POCONO NORTHEAST YOUTH HOCKEY CLUB, INC.”, shall be to promote, foster and perpetuate the sport of ice hockey in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for all interested youth. PNYHC’s main purpose will be to implant firmly in the children of the community the ideas of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage and reverence so that they may be finer, stronger and happier children while supporting and encouraging the growth of ice hockey throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. It shall be the primary responsibility of PNYHC to provide and support a travel ice hockey program for the youth of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania wishing to play at a more competitive level. The main focus of the organization shall be to provide a positive learning and growth experience to all interested participants.

There are a number of opportunities for families to earn fundraising credit with programs available thru the Pocono Pirate organization. Programs will be available that include:

• Working a Refreshment Stand at Home Wilkes-Barre Scranton games at Wachovia Arena.
• Participation in the Year Book or Tournament Program.
• Selling Raffle Tickets for a year-end raffle.
